State Requirements
Below are the established qualifying scores for the ParaPathways and ParaPro assessments. To pass, test takers must meet or exceed the listed score.
If your school district or organization is located in a state that has established a qualifying score and you would like to become a testing center, complete an application. Note: This application is not used for test‑taker registration. To schedule an at‑home exam, please visit our ParaPro Test Registration page. If you prefer to test in person, refer to our Community-Based Test Centers List to find a participating location near you.
Important: Before scheduling your test, please be sure to confirm that the test is accepted by your state or local education agency. If you are unsure whether the ParaPro or ParaPathways test is accepted in your area, please contact your state or local agency directly for guidance on the testing requirements for paraeducators.
